I delve into the politics, poetics, and aesthetics of US Latinx and Latin American sartorial cultures, unearthing their archives, materialities, and visualities. Through critical lenses and collaborative projects, I reflect on the colonial legacies embedded both in fashion and latinidad, challenging dominant narratives by attending to the histories, styles, politics, and collective fashionable—and anti-fashion—actions of Latinx and Latin American heterogeneous peoples.

My work seeks to disrupt entrenched structures of power in order to reimagine and materialize sartorial fabulous futures yet to unfold.
