I specialize in Latinx and Latin American fashion, objects, visualities, and archives. My research examines how visual and material culture shape histories of race, ethnicity, coloniality, and creative labor across the Americas.
Through archival research, public scholarship, and collaborative projects, I aim to challenge dominant fashion, arts, and design narratives by attending to the histories, styles, and collective creative practices of Latinx and Latin American communities.
My work seeks to disrupt entrenched structures of power and reimagine futures yet to unfold.
